KNOWING MY PLACE

A couple of weeks ago I spent the day shooting for Rosewood London with a brilliant team who'd flown in from The States. As far as hotels go, the Rosewood has a rep for being up there with the dog-friendliest – you only need to meet resident golden retriever Pearl who mostly hangs out around the main lobby and signature mirror corridor and the tone is immediately set for our four-legged friends.

Unsurprisingly, once Team Rosewood got wind of Luna she was in that car with me to the hotel, striding through the main entrance with purpose and surveying the scenes before clocking Pearl (she has a weakness for labs and retrievers). Scenes suitably surveyed she then got the lift with us to an enormous suite and proceeded to hijack my shoot. The next thing I knew the photographer was setting up chairs for her and only her as I watched on from the sidelines.

Regardless of playing second fiddle I still got to wear an awesome ensemble courtesy of the teams at The Shop at Bluebird – which houses Anine Bing, Ganni and Citizens of Humanity to name a few – and swoon-worthy loungewear label Yolke.

Watch this space for my upcoming project with Rosewood...
