MARKING THE OCCASION

For dressier occasions, Beulah is one of my go-tos. If you follow me on Instagram you'll have spotted it's a firm favourite and I worked with the team earlier this year shooting some of its beautiful summer collection.

If you're not familiar with the brand, there are a few key things you need to know.

1) First and foremost it's fashion with a heart. The Beulah Trust is a vehicle supporting women in India who've been victims of sex trafficking. The charity offers grants to pay for skill courses, giving these women the chance to find employment and generate an income

2) It serves up heart-stoppingly beautiful occasionwear in trademark prints and feminine silhouettes

3) It's thrown open the doors to a brand new second site this month – a pop-up on Sloane Street

Above are two of my favourite looks from the summer: one worn to an old school friend's wedding (the bride arrived to her nuptials looking like a Pre-Raphaelite painting, gliding across a lake by boat, and dismounting through a puff of orange smoke, but that's another story); the other for the preview night of Masterpiece. Beulah partnered the event and so hostesses were also decked out in one of their pink pieces which is frankly the best damn uniform I've ever seen.

The new autumn/winter collection is out and you can see it in all its glory at the new Sloane Street store. Think lashings of velvet, midnight blues and star prints.

Not spon, just love – go and check it out! Hx
