ONE DRESS THREE WAYS (+ A TRIP TO DOWNING STREET)

Resisting the allure of the floral printed wrap dress this summer is futile. Its enduring appeal doesn't stop with its girlish charm but is heightened by the ease at which it can be thrown on and restyled. I can't say I would have ever suggested the same dress was appropriate for drinking wine in the park as it is for standing on the doorstep of No 10 (casually slip that in there), but happy to be proven wrong. And I haven't even called upon the help of denim or leather yet. Call me strange but my initial instinct was to wear this one draped open kimono-style over shorts – scroll down for regular dress-wearing teamed with straw hat and trainers too, and smartened up with a pop of orange directly below. And I won't insult you by telling you how much prints – especially predominantly black ones – hide clumsy spillages and wayward paw prints... *longs to join eternally groomed club*
