PLAYING HOST WITH KIT AND ACE

Bottles of Moët and healthy snacks from Whole Foods were key sustenance to fuelling a night I hosted with Kit and Ace at their Regent Street store earlier this week. I invited a handful of my family and hens to eat, drink and test the new summer collection – and basically run riot in the shop until closing time.

If you're not familiar with the brand, here it is in a nutshell. It was started by the brains behind yoga-wear giant Lululemon and launched in the UK towards the end of last year, with emphasis on creating high-quality, day-to-day basics with a sporty twist. T-shirts containing cashmere are strokably soft and smart cropped trousers feel more like trackie bottoms to wear. It's this easy-to-wear, comfort-is-key ethos that has meant I already have a stockpile of Kit and Ace tops lining my drawers for both work-from-home days and back-to-back-meeting days.

So Ali, Charlotte, Alice, Flo, Octavia, Polly, Antonia, Olly, my Mum and I spent a few hours sweeping the shop floors for favourite items, bundling into changing rooms en masse, cuddling Luna and sipping Champagne, with Kit and Ace kindly gifting everyone their favourite piece to take home with them at the end of the night.

Thank you Kit and Ace for what was definitely a better-than-average Tuesday evening.

A huge thank you to Kit and Ace for such a spoiling evening.
