It's no secret yoga makes you feel good. Apart from the endless health benefits – better sleep, stronger immune system – I always leave a class with a huge sense of satisfaction. Whether it be times of stress, tiredness or just a down day, there's nothing a good pigeon pose can't sort out.

With summer fast approaching, I’m going to resist my usual routine of swapping yoga mat for tennis racket in a desperate bid to spend as much time outside as possible. The tennis will continue, but it’s often hard to timetable a four with everyone’s diaries all over the place, and more often than not we end up forging an awkward game of American doubles when one person gets stuck in the office. So a happy mix of both – outdoors and yoga – is exactly what I’m looking for to add to my summer sporting plan.

And it looks like my prayers have been answered. Last week on a shoot for Glamour magazine I met the lovely Jessica Skye, who started her own company Fat Buddha Yoga – and she holds classes alfresco! After listening to her playlist on set for the day (she's a DJ too) I'm gagging to get onto the Dalston rooftop where she’s based to throw a few warriors and, if the sun's shining, some longer-than-usual Shavasanas.
