LAST MINUTE PRESENT IDEAS

The final countdown is officially underway as we head at a million miles an hour towards Christmas Weekend. And if you don't have your Christmas shopping all wrapped up yet, I've scoured a few favourite sites for my edit of the best there is going – all for under £50 (minus the velvet Mango velvet dress and Thomas Lyte tote which I couldn't not feature for their sheer brilliance). A general rule of thumb I follow is, if I like/want it, it's the sign of a good present.
Passport holder | Thomas Lyte I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking of fleeing to far-flung islands in a bid to find sun, sea and REST. Served sunny side up, there's an option to emboss initials for a personal touch on this passport holder by Royal Warrant holders Thomas Lyte. There are great ideas for the boys on their site too, in the shape of card holders, wash bags and travel wallets.
Star hair clip | Cheap Monday Love love love. And within Secret Santa budget.
Cook for Syria Supporting children in war-torn Syria, the Cook for Syria campaign is aiming to invite everyone to help make a difference and positive contribution via cooking, sharing recipes and social media. Read more at cookforsyria.com
Velvet heels | New Look If you follow me on Twitter you may have noticed I called these out last week. Olive, velvet heels– £23?! An undisputed yes. Wear with anything and everything.
Star PJs | Hush We're rapidly heading into hibernation season due to a combination of post-Christmas fatigue and gloomy January days on the horizon. In which case PJs will be welcomed with open arms.
Velvet dress | Mango Bravo Mango, the best LBD I've seen. Looking likely this will be a present from me to me.
GlossyBox subscription Beauty addicts can get their fix on a monthly basis trialling new products which are delivered, beautifully packaged, directly to your front door every month.
Lace bra | Hush Sheer prettiness from the clever folk at Hush, I can't think of any of my friends who wouldn't want this in their lingerie stash. And it's under £20.
Lottie tote | Thomas Lyte As goldsmith and silversmith to the Queen, it's safe to say Royal Warrant holders Thomas Lyte can be relied on for quality. Plus anything in this petrol blue gets the thumbs up from me. Oh, and it's in the sale.
Satin piped kimono top | ASOS Forget saving this for bed, this is exactly the kind of thing I'll be wearing for Christmas parties, New Year's Eve and beyond when it comes to after-dark hours. Looks expensive but isn't – perfect when it comes to present-giving.
Cashmere wrist warmers | Hush A classic at this time of year. The wonders of fingerless gloves is you can go about your day without ever really having to take them off.
Sports Bra | Nike With New Year's Resolutions generally including something along the lines of fitness, why not help a pal get motivated with new gear?
Olly, Luna and I are heading into town this evening for more investigating on the present front, so I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, Happy Shopping xoxo
