GREAT LENGTHS

After a brief blogging hiatus, I've been temporarily reunited with my laptop and able to prep a few posts ready to roll out over the next few weeks.
Wedding planning and flat DIY aside, January got off to a manic start and I've spent the last three weeks freelancing at Harvey Nichols. Since the Head Office is virtually on the total opposite side of London from our flat I've been crashing with one of my best friends on Portobello Road. And since Luna isn't allowed to accompany me to the office, she's been on a country retreat with her mum Duster and our other schnauzer Hammy. While I miss her terribly she's been enjoying life in a wolf pack.
On one weekend back in Sussex visiting Little L, we headed into our local town Lewes – which is as eccentric as it is beautiful (sightings have included cats being walked on leads and don't even get me started on Bonfire Night – Google it.) I've been on the hunt for a longer coat and this grey wool herringbone one was enough to make me peel off my winter-proof parka which has become a second skin. An easy mix of a sharp blazer-esque cut and long relaxed billowing coat tails has pretty much made it my new best friend. Plus I couldn't resist a doorway this turquoise, which sits alongside our favourite flea market.
