FRESH PETALS

Instagram feeds spammed with blossom (guilty and not sorry) and the brand new bouquet of florals that have landed on shop floors are true signifiers that spring is here.

An obsessive stockpiler of summer clothes, I've actually had this beautiful shirt in my clutches for months, but January/February/March are not kind to such get-ups. For my fresh bunch of foliage – complete with ruffles and vibrant colour – I've plumped for the failsafe leather formula, asserting a tougher edge and hopefully a little more clout. And this isn't a wear-once number. As temps rise, I can see myself reaching for it again and again, especially for summer dinners and drinks. I can't wait to pair with light denim and sandals.
