LADYLIKE LEATHER

There's nothing like a leather skirt to pull an otherwise low-key, basic look together. And a trend this easy to wear is something I can get behind.

I came across this studded one half-price on the Topshop website (a size too big - still haven't learnt) and, while I'm decidedly average at online shopping, I decided to take a punt on it and add it to my basket. The too-big waist has proved a plus point since I'm permanently cold at the moment and pleased I can tuck a jumper in without a problem along with several other layers underneath.

I love the idea of it with an ankle skimming trench too. When the temperature reaches double figures I'll give it a go.
